Welcome MESSAGE FROM PTO CO-PRESIDENTS

 Dear L-H Families,

On behalf of the Lincoln-Hubbard PTO, we would like to welcome everyone to the 2023-2024 school year! We look forward to seeing returning families and meeting those families new to our L-H community.

Elementary school is a special time in your child’s life - a time of learning and discovery, new friendships and experiences. We are honored to be part of the parent volunteers who strive to make their experience a memorable and enriching one.

As an organization, the L-H PTO’s mission is to enhance our school community through funding and support of programs throughout the school, such as after school activities, cultural arts assemblies, field day, the theater program, talent show, and many other special events. Last year, your generosity also enabled the PTO to fund the purchase of four new soccer nets and new stage curtains in the gymnasium, both of which will be installed this fall.

Your support is critical - please consider joining the PTO and helping us fulfill our mission. We cannot continue our wonderful programming without your support! To make a donation, please see LH PTO Donation 2023-2024.

There are some exciting events planned for September and the PTO is hard at work planning for the school year! In the spirit of “LH-Active”, please join us for coffee after drop off on the first day of school, September 5th from 8:15-9:00 AM in the L-H cafeteria. It’s a great way to see some familiar faces and meet new ones too.

Please also save the date for the first student backyard playdate of the year after school on September 8th, a Back to School Night Parent Social on September 13th, and our second annual L-H Homecoming on September 22nd.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or suggestions - we would love to hear from you.

Best wishes for a great school year!

Sincerely,
Komal Soni & April McCann

DAY OF GIVING A SUCCESS!!

On April 12, every child at L-H participated in our Day of Giving, in which they GAVE BACK to a local charity.

FIRST GRADERS made cards for our first responders in the Summit Police Department.

SECOND GRADERS created snack bags for kids in need at Neighborhood House.

THIRD GRADERS made bracelets and "hero" notes for Overlook Auxiliary.

FOURTH GRADERS put together cooking essentials for Family Promise.

FIFTH GRADERS made knotted lap blankets for our friends at Sage Eldercare.

We hope all our kids learned more about the importance of giving back and doing for others; a great lifelong lesson!

NOW… We're Asking YOU to GIVE to L-H

The second component to our GIVE AND GIVE BACK fundraiser is asking you, our L-H community, to give to our school. Every single dollar you give goes directly to creating awesome activities and events for YOUR children.

Our goal is to raise $30,000. And we know we can do it! The kids really want to reach this goal because if we get there, they'll get to SLIME MR. CARLIN! (You should have heard the cheers this morning when they heard that.)

You can make a donation of any amount.

Every single dollar helps.

The link to donate is HERE

Share it with friends, family and neighbors! (PS They can write checks, too, made payable to L-H PTO.)

And remember, many companies will match donations, so take that extra few minutes to complete your company’s process. Or, to reach out to us at the PTO, and we can help you get your corporation set up for matching! Matching donations go a long way towards helping the PTO reach its fundraising goals.

Thank you in advance for your support!!
