Send Nominations for the L-H Volunteer Award

Every year at the end of the school year we look to honor one or two people who will be leaving the school after this school year (because their youngest child is in fifth grade), but who have made a lasting impact throughout their years at the school.

If you'd like to nominate someone whose last child is in fifth grade this year and who has been an outstanding volunteer and contributor to the L-H community during their time at the school, please submit your nominees to lincolnhubbardpto@gmail.com by May 30th.

Field Day at Lincoln-Hubbard is June 5th!

Rescheduled due to weather - now on Thursday, 6/5!

PARENTS: If you are unable to volunteer on the new day, please change your availability on the sign-up below. If you weren’t able to sign up before, but can now please check the sign-up for availability to help out on one of the best days at L-H!

Field Day Volunteer Sign Up

The schedule for field day is unchanged: ALL VOLUNTEERS will sign in with Ms. Downey, and then at 8:15am, they will meet Miss Durkin on the blacktop so she can explain the stations and answer any questions if needed.

Field Day will start at 9am and end at 11am (grades 1-2) and 11:45am (grades 3-5).

Donations of mini water bottles are needed. Drop off at picnic tables on the grass near the blacktop on 6/5 between 8-9am.

Thank you in advance for volunteering and/or donating!

Last Week to Help: Supplies for Jared Boxes Still Needed

Our 5th Grade LH Pride Pals still need a few more items to reach their goal to create 10 Jared Boxes for donation at Overlook Hospital. They will be used by children waiting for appointments and treatments to ease anxiety.

Thank you for your contributions and support!

Thank You Summit Public Art

Summit Public Art was gracious enough to volunteer their services to come and teach the second graders an art lesson. They learned about the organization and they're involved in modifying spaces within the summit community. Following the lesson, they completed their own projects. Take a look to see the students' "replicas" of a summit art installment, which can be seen at the bus shelter in town.

IMPORTANT: Please Respect Church Property & Crosswalk Safety

We’ve been kindly asked by the pastor at Calvary Church to remind our community not to cut through the church’s private property, specifically the area between the Victorian homes at 39 and 41 Woodland. This area is currently undergoing landscape renovations and is an active work zone, posing safety risks and liability concerns.

Additionally, once the landscaping is complete, foot traffic would damage the new plantings — and we want to be good neighbors and preserve the positive relationship we have with the church, including continued use of their lot.

Also, a friendly reminder not to park on or block the crosswalk. This has been an ongoing issue and creates a serious safety concern for our students and families walking to and from school.

Thank you for your cooperation!
