Dear LH Families:
I hope you all had a restful weekend. Below, please find links to two follow-up communications regarding masking and recess during these winter months.

1. A follow-up communication as a result of questions raised regarding masking and recess.

2. General winter recess expectations that are observed annually. Note: Lincoln-Hubbard has not had recess during the winter months since March 2020, so please read over and certainly discuss with your child(ren.)

Thank you for your attention
to both items.

Best,
Matt

L-H CARES PROJECT: FOURTH GRADERS COLLECTING LEGOs

Help our fourth-graders by supporting the LEGO Replay project, a simple program that allows much-loved LEGO bricks to find a new home and share the power of play with kids in need. Your donated bricks find new homes at places like Boys and Girls Clubs and Teach for America. Acceptable LEGO pieces are as follows:
- LEGO® System, DUPLO® and
Technic™ Bricks and Elements
from single or multiple sets
- LEGO® Minifigures and
Mini-dolls
- LEGO® Baseplate

Collection bins are located in the vestibule outside the main office, outside the cafeteria, and by the water fountain outside the gymnasium through the end of January.

Our fourth grade home rooms have the following to say about why you should collect and donate your LEGOs:
“By donating your LEGOs, you are helping reuse and reduce plastic waste."

"You should donate your LEGOs so that others can recreate the sets that you once made."

"Imagine not being able to have a LEGO set! By donating your LEGOs you are giving someone else the experience you once had!"

We’re hoping their enthusiasm spreads and you help their cause!
