World's Fair
The cultures of Lincoln-Hubbard span the globe. Come share your corner of the world with the students on Thursday, March 28 from 12:30-2:30pm. Each country represented will have a table and space to share food, games, language, customs, dances, and music. This is an exciting opportunity to enrich our students’ global perspective with the experiences from our parent body. Multiple entries for the same country will be paired together.

Please contact Amanda Block with the country you would like to represent and for details about this fair.

Many thanks,
Paola and Amanda

The annual Summit area schools STEAM Carnival will be held Saturday, April 6
at Jefferson School from 10 am to 2 pm.

This year there will be a session at the carnival where families can work together to construct STEAM kits to be donated back to the community.

The following items are needed for the kits:
-- Playdoh
-- popsicle sticks (plain and colored)
-- binder clips
-- clothespins
-- pipe cleaners
-- plastic straws (We suggest the "Repurpose" brand, as they are compostable!)
-- ping pong balls
-- masking tape

Boxes will be placed in the front hall of L-H (and other area schools) to collect these items through March 21. Families who participate in the STEAM kit construction activity at the STEAM carnival will be entered in a raffle to win tickets to Disney!

The Bake Sale Was a Huge Success with more than
$1250 in donations!

A Huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated baked goods, helped set up, sell, and clean up from the 1st Grade Bake Sale benefitting Edwin and Edward's heart surgeries. For more info or donations, please visit the twins' Go Fund Me page.

In the words of Mrs. Cacicedo (1C), who spearheaded the bake sale: "The generosity, support and kindness of the LH families never ceases to amaze me! Working here is simply amazing."

Start planning your acts. From music to magic, juggling to gymnastics, all 1st through 3rd graders are welcome to share their unique talents on our L-H stage on Friday, April 26 at 6:30 pm.

Calling all 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-grade stars! "The Greatest Show" is right around the corner!
