Now's the Time to Give Back to Our School

November is the month of giving and gratitude—and we’re feeling both!

We’re currently at 42% participation in our PTO fundraiser. That means more than half of us still have the chance to help make a big impact.

Every dollar you give goes right back into the school, funding enrichment programs, teacher support, and those little extras that make our school community shine. So far, your donations have made so many memorable events happen: Welcome Principal's Coffee, two Speaker Series presentations, Homecoming, Parent Social, ASAs, Scholastic Book Fair, Backyard Playdate, Movie Night—and there's much more in store!

After School Activities Update

Our Fall ASAs were a complete success. A big thank you to Erica Roselli for bringing them back this year.

Winter ASAs are coming! Stay tuned to these weekly PTO emails for info and sign-ups for fun new offerings like an intro to financial literacy, yoga, and cursive. ASAs will kick off the week of January 5th.

Charleston Wrap Fundraiser Now Live!

Get a jump on holiday gifting and wrapping.

Starting now, your friends and family have the opportunity to shop premium gift wrap, candles, gifts, food, and more, with all sales benefitting your children.

To get started, register on www.registercw.com, and then simply invite friends and family to shop the online storefront.

40% of proceeds will go back to our school to support PTO programming, so we need your participation! The sale runs November 2nd through December 5th.

Please see the flyer below for a list of suggested donation items. Kids and parents can drop off items at the tables outside of the school library through Wednesday, November 12th. You can also shop via this Amazon wish list, and your items will be shipped directly to the school.

Speech & Debate Club for 4th and 5th Graders

The LH Speech & Debate Club will be starting its second year on Tuesday, November 18 and run for 13 Tuesdays through Tuesday, February 24. Sessions will be held from 3:00-3:30 in the Learning Commons and is open to students in grades 4 and 5.

SHS students (and former LH students) Anjali Jois and Sophie Klaiber are once again running the club. Mrs. Stubeck will be present as the adult in charge, however the club is planned and presented entirely by the two HS students. Mrs. Stubeck has shared a Google form in the library Google classroom. Please ensure there are limited after school conflicts on Tuesdays before signing up.

Space is limited to 15 students. Should more than 15 students be interested, students will be selected randomly with priority given to students who did not participate in the club last year.

Students will have until November 7th to register.
