New Fingerprinting Paperwork for Volunteers

As of September 17th, the Summit Board of Education has issued new fingerprinting paperwork necessary for parent volunteers.

If you received paperwork as part of your Back to School packet from your child's teacher, please disregard it and use THIS FORM instead.

Parents of children in Grades 3-5 will need this paperwork on file with the Main Office in order to be eligible to volunteer on field trips.

If you have already had fingerprinting done, please update any new car insurance with Alicia Downey. Please reach out to Ms. Downey with any questions or to check your current status.

Sign-Up for LH 💙💛 Art

We are excited to launch a new volunteer-based art program at LH this year! This new program will replace the previous Art in the Classroom experience in an effort for volunteers to be inspired to be creative and collaborative with the students through art. The new program will foster a more fluid art experience and encourage student/parent partnership through the creative process.

There are a few spaces left; please click HERE if you're interested in being the LH Art parent for your child's classroom.

Upon sign-up, projects can be completed anytime through coordination with the homeroom teacher through the end of November. Art projects will take place in homerooms led by parent volunteers who are provided with an approved curriculum, instructions, and supplies for each project by grade level. Any questions? Please contact the Curriculum Developer, Laura Buccola (Laura.Buccola@gmail.com).

More Ways to Get Involved

There are still great parent volunteer opportunities available, including on the Fundraising Committee and Playground Committee.

Check out all open positions and sign-up here
