The PTO uses funds donated by you to help support Cultural Arts assemblies for your children throughout the school year.

 Tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 30, they will enjoy a Hip Hop Fundamentals assembly! Hip Hop Fundamentals is an award-winning team of diverse professional breakdancers dedicated to Hip Hop Education. They are the world’s only breakdance education company combining academic and social content with the world’s most dynamic dance form. As certified teaching artists, seasoned performers, and battle-tested dancers, they are passionately driven to inspire, empower, engage, and educate.

It's an L-H Spirit Day! Let's all Get Psyched for Summer with some fun summertime gear! (But remember it's still winter, so dress in layers and plan for outdoor recess if we're able to have it!)

Join us for Coffee With the Principal this week:

-- Thursday, Feb. 2 at 7 pm via Google Meet 

-- Friday, Feb. 3 at 9 am in person

And join us next week on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8:45 am for our Specialist Showcase, where you'll get to learn what your kids do in art, music, gym, and library!

Our Sweetheart Dance, a tradition for L-H daughters and their dad, grandpa, uncle or someone else special, will take place on Friday, Feb. 10 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. The evening will include a photo booth, refreshments, giveaways, and a DJ! 

Tickets are $15 per child; adults are free. There will be some tickets available at the door, but we encourage you to purchase in advance! Click the image below to order tickets.

Thanks to the 4th graders leading the charge and the generosity of the L-H community, we have donated 7 LARGE garbage bags of men’s and children’s clothing in very good condition to Junior League.

Thank you to those families who supported the December PTO fundraisers!  Minted generously donated $1,200.48 of sales and Color Me Mine donated $125 from their pottery event to support PTO programming for our children.

February is coming this week, and along with it Valentine's Day! We can show our L-H Staff some LOVE by donating items to stock the staff lounge this month.

Our STEAM teacher, Mrs. Brennan, has asked us to send in empty tissue boxes and mason jars with lids for use in the STEAM lab. We can't wait to see what cool stuff the kids do with them!

We want to highlight some of the great things we're able to do for our children thanks to your generous donations to the PTO.

Last year you may recall that we brought in outside artists from the Visual Arts Center to work with your kids on a fun stop-motion project. The project supported social-emotional learning and fostered teamwork.

Summit Public Schools has created an app, which is available for download in the Apple or Google store, depending on where you get your apps.

They're asking people to download it, use it, and then provide feedback about what you like and don't like.
