Art Wellness Program with the Visual Arts Center of NJ
During the first three weeks of May, artist and art therapist Megan Tuttle from the Visual Arts Center of NJ led an art wellness program with all L-H students in grades 1-5. This PTO-sponsored program gave students the opportunity to explore art as a tool for self-expression and as a way to help regulate stress and anxiety particularly during testing season. During their regularly scheduled art classes, students had a chance to collaborate and work together as a community on some amazing artwork that will be on display at Wednesday evening's Open House. Be sure to take a look! Special thanks to Ms. Yospin for her oversight and our parent volunteers who helped make the program a success!
