Our annual End-of-Year picnic will take place on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 14. The event will take place from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm on the blacktop as soon as school ends.

This fun afternoon includes inflatables, a DJ, an ice cream truck, and the ever-popular dunk tank!

Everyone is welcome to bring their own lunch; but if you prefer, you can order a box lunch from Towne Deli. These box lunches will be delivered to the school so kids can easily grab them before heading to the festivities.

Box lunches can be ordered HERE. Deadline to order is Monday, June 5.

Seeking Submissions for Volunteer Award

If you would like to nominate someone for the Volunteer Award for their service, please email the PTOby Friday, May 26.

L-H Cares: Second-Graders Collecting Art Supplies

Second-graders are collecting art supplies until May 25. There are boxes in the front hall and outside the art room.

Materials can include NEW (think unused birthday presents) markers, crayons, colored pencils, Play Doh, coloring books, notebooks, craft paper, art kits, etc!

The collection will go to GRACE for distribution to children of families who received food through this local program.

Still Need Assistant Webmaster for Next Year

The PTO is still in need of an Assistant Webmaster for next year's executive board. This is a two-year commitment, as ideally this person would become the primary Webmaster the following year. It involves updating our PTO website.

If you're interested in the position, please email the PTO.

Talent Show a Big Hit!

Thank you to chairs Roseanne Wilson and Tara Negus for all of their time, dedication, and support of our young performers. Our student performers did an amazing job on their acts and were truly Out of This World!

Your PTO Dollars at Work

Another thank you to our hospitality committee (Laura Buccola, Elyssa Guthoff and Katelyn Luke) for helping us make Nurse Diakos feel loved on Nurse's Appreciation Day last week.

These treats, which really come from ALL of us, are possible because of YOUR donations to the PTO, so thank you!
