SPARC Holds Meeting Monday Night


SPARC will hold a General Membership Meeting, Monday, March 6 at 7:30 pm.  Please join us, via Zoom. We will hear from:

*Anne Poyner, SHS director and Speech & Debate coach, as we celebrate the completion of the hilarious production Something Rotten. and prepare for the Speech & Debate state and district championships in March. 

*Julia Cicchino, the LCJSMS director, will update us on the upcoming production of The Little Mermaid. Purchase tickets here: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/71351

*Jason Orbe, will give an overview of the class he teaches at the high school, "Theater Design and Technology." 

*Performing arts liaisons from the five elementary schools will share what they have planned at their schools!

Registration is Open for FLASH Camp


Registration is now open for this summer's FLASH program! FLASH offers a variety of engaging and creative learning pathways in its summer program.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Summit Educational Foundation (SEF) Spring for Excellence Fundraiser!  Through the generous support of donors, SEF continues to play a paramount role in funding grants that distinguish our schools as top-performing and bring innovative resources to our students.

Thank You for Supporting L-H Through Our Workout Week!


Thank you to those who came out for L-H Workout Weeks in January!  It was a great opportunity to meet other L-H parents while raising funds for our school. 


These fitness studios generously donated a portion of the proceeds to fund L-H PTO programming: Club Pilates/AKT generously donated $360, Home Power Yoga $210,  Managed Fitness $125 and Bar Method (no final amount yet).

Come be part of their world! Tickets are on sale for the LCJSMS performance of The Little Mermaid, which runs March 17 and 18

Costume Help Needed For Seussical


We're in need of a few items for the upcoming L-H musical, Seussical. Please reach out to Gemma Davies if you have any of the following items:


-- 8 Denim jackets that can be cut up (sizes 8 -12)

-- a brown/tan fur (faux) vest or jacket, size 8 - 10

-- a Grinch costume

Save the Date: April 12 for Give and Give Back Fundraiser


Stay tuned for details on our annual L-H Give and Give Back Fundraiser. Your kids will be giving back to various local organizations on Wednesday, April 12.


We'll also be asking for some of those supplies to be donated. Details to come!

Your PTO Dollars at Work


Author-illustrator Bryan Collier, recipient of multiple Caldecott Honors and Coretta Scott King awards as well as the Ezra Jack Keats New Illustrator Award, visited with your kids last week. We might have some future authors or illustrators in our midst!
